The Bitch called 'maturity'

When do you get it?
How do you get it?
And how the hell do you know that this is it?
Is it the age that does it?
Or the societal cage that does it?
Or the six digit wage that does it?
Or do you just fake it?
Knowing you can get away with it?
But do you really need it?

'Being Dumb' v/s 'Being Numb'

  1. Woohoo, Mandoo! We only experience bouts of maturity, I guess, never complete maturity.

    1. Yeah, but i wonder why people (and me) like drinking so much. May be cause it gives us an excuse to be stupid and free. Not that it makes us stupid, even when we are drunk we are totally aware of what non sense stuff we are doing / saying, but we use it as an excuse for all those things that we are scared of doing/ saying when we are sober.

The price of 'freedom' is Rs 120/- per bottle. (Haryana Prices)

    2. What stops you from saying or doing things that you want to? Is it the fear or getting ridiculed or criticized? Is it the cowardliness? If you speak your heart out, you'll live free anyway. :)

    3. You are correct. It's the fear of being judged.

    4. We all live with the fear of getting judge, and gradually, stop being ourselves. To be happy, all we need to do is conquer this fear.

  2. two things..

i feel we judge ourselves way too much..

mature people are boring people who are too practical and rational.. and i guess life's ups and downs make them like that..

i'd say we take life too seriously.. i mean atleast in my case.. it's true..
    loved it!
